Information we collect

When you order from us or contact us, we collect:

  • Contact details: name, email address and phone number.
  • Delivery details: shipping address and, if given, your lab or company name.
  • Order details: products ordered and order history.
  • Payment details: when you pay by PayID or bank transfer, our bank shows us the payer name, amount and reference. We never ask for card details or banking passwords.
  • Messages: anything you send us through email or the contact page.

When you browse the website we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. Your cart is stored in your own browser so it is kept between visits.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • process, dispatch and track your orders;
  • send order confirmations, certificates of analysis and dispatch notices;
  • answer questions and handle returns;
  • prevent fraud and check that orders are for research use; and
  • meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the business: with our bank to receive and refund payments, with Australia Post or other carriers to deliver your parcel, with IT and email service providers, and with professional advisers. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

Some service providers may store data outside Australia. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Storage and security

We store personal information on secure systems with access limited to staff who need it. We keep order records for as long as needed for tax and legal purposes, then delete or de-identify them.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing support@chainwellpeptidesaus.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and browser storage

This website uses your browser's local storage to remember your cart and orders placed from that browser. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings. If we add analytics tools, we will list them here.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at support@chainwellpeptidesaus.com and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
