GHK-Cu Dosage Calculator for 50mg and 100mg Vials

Work out the concentration of a reconstituted GHK-Cu vial and convert any amount into millilitres and U-100 syringe units. The calculator is set to our GHK-Cu 50mg vial; switch to 100mg or enter your own values.

Reconstituting GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu comes in much larger fills than most peptides, so its solutions are strong. A GHK-Cu 50mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 25 mg per mL, and the 100mg vial with 3 mL gives about 33 mg per mL. At those strengths each unit on a U-100 syringe holds a quarter of a milligram or more, so small amounts take only a few units.

The solution should be clear and blue; the colour comes from the copper and is expected. For GHK-Cu with water and a syringe in one carton, see the GHK-Cu Starter Kit.

GHK-Cu reconstitution chart

Concentration for each vial size and water volume. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 10 units is 0.1 mL and 100 units is 1 mL.

The formula behind the calculator

concentration (mg/mL) = GHK-Cu in vial (mg) ÷ water added (mL)

units on a U-100 syringe = amount (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL) × 100

Amounts in micrograms are divided by 1,000 first. The calculator does this arithmetic only; it does not recommend an amount, and GHK-Cu from Chainwell Peptide is supplied for laboratory research use only.

GHK-Cu calculator questions

How much bac water for 50mg GHK-Cu?

+

2 to 3 mL in a standard 3 mL vial. 2 mL gives 25 mg per mL and 3 mL gives about 16.7 mg per mL. More water spreads the peptide over more units, which makes small amounts easier to measure.

How much bac water for 100mg GHK-Cu?

+

Up to about 3 mL, the capacity of a standard vial, which gives about 33 mg per mL. Each unit on a U-100 syringe then holds about 0.33 mg.

Why is reconstituted GHK-Cu blue?

+

The copper ion bound to the peptide gives the solution its blue colour. A clear, blue solution is normal; cloudiness or particles are not.
