Tesamorelin reconstitution calculator
Reconstituting Tesamorelin
A tesamorelin 10mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg per mL, so 10 units on a U-100 syringe holds 0.5 mg. Because tesamorelin amounts are usually written in milligrams, the volumes are larger than for microgram peptides such as ipamorelin; check that the result stays under 100 units for a 1 mL syringe.
For the tesamorelin and ipamorelin blend, enter the combined 16mg fill; tesamorelin is 13 of every 16 parts and ipamorelin 3.
Tesamorelin reconstitution chart
Concentration for each vial size and water volume. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 10 units is 0.1 mL and 100 units is 1 mL.
| Vial | Bac water added | Concentration | Per 10 units (0.1 mL) | Per 1 unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 mg | 1 mL | 10 mg/mL | 1 mg (1000 mcg) | 100 mcg |
| 10 mg | 2 mL | 5 mg/mL | 0.5 mg (500 mcg) | 50 mcg |
| 10 mg | 3 mL | 3.333 mg/mL | 0.333 mg (333.333 mcg) | 33.333 mcg |
The formula behind the calculator
concentration (mg/mL) = Tesamorelin in vial (mg) ÷ water added (mL)
units on a U-100 syringe = amount (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL) × 100
Amounts in micrograms are divided by 1,000 first. The calculator does this arithmetic only; it does not recommend an amount, and Tesamorelin from Chainwell Peptide is supplied for laboratory research use only.

Tesamorelin calculator questions
How much bac water for 10mg tesamorelin?
+
1 to 3 mL. 2 mL gives 5 mg per mL, and 1 mL gives 10 mg per mL for smaller volumes. The calculator shows the units for any amount at your chosen volume.
How do I calculate the tesamorelin and ipamorelin blend?
+
Enter 16mg as the vial amount. The calculator gives the combined concentration; 13/16 of any volume is tesamorelin and 3/16 is ipamorelin.
Should tesamorelin be mixed with sterile water or bacteriostatic water?
+
Bacteriostatic water is the usual choice for a vial that will be drawn from more than once, because its benzyl alcohol preservative limits bacterial growth after the stopper is punctured.
